The National Equality March is pleased to be able to inform you about the following options for travel from New York City to Washington, D.C. On this page you will find information about discounted commercial travel and chartered buses. This is not an exhaustive list. We advise you to research all your options and to choose what is best for you. National Equality March – Ride with the New York City Council speaker, Christine Quinn as she leads NYC to the march! The bus will leave from 16 West 22nd Street (between 5th and 6th Ave) at 7:00 am on October 11th. Tickets cost $33.34 and are available at nycgomarch.eventbrite.com
The NYC National Equality March Mobilization Coalition is selling tickets for buses departing from the New York City LGBT Community Center at 208 West 13th Street at 6:00 am on October 11th. Tickets are $35 at regular price, and $20 for students. Buses will return no later than 10:00 pm the same day. Tickets can be purchased online at equalitynyc.eventbrite.com/. Broadway Impact is providing FREE buses on a first come first served basis. All buses depart at 6 a.m. on Sunday October 11th. Buses return to New York at 8 p.m., 10 p.m., 12 p.m., 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. You can pick up tickets at Vlada Lounge (331 West 51st Street between 8th and 9th Avenues) from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. EVERY night until October 7th while supplies last. You can also reserve tickets via email by sending a message with your e-mail, cell phone number, and the time you would like to return, to BroadwayImpact@gmail.com. Marriage Equality New York is selling tickets for various bus packages, ranging in price from a $12 same day option to a $110 round trip bus and overnight hotel package. Participants using this option will be part of a contingent supporting and participating in the 9th Annual Wedding March in Support of Marriage Equality. Visit www.firstgiving.com/meny to begin the registration process. Your registration is not complete until you have been contacted by Marriage Equality New York with your confirmation.
